CR7 OUT FOR REDEMPTION

TIME TO PROVE AGAIN
Only scoring one goal, from the penalty spot, in his last four games is an anomaly for the man we have often called the 'goal-machine'. The Bernabéu faithful are used to seeing the ball go in to the back of the net from his boots again and again and again. Not seeing it is unnerving.

CR7 wants to start again, to go back to his goal-fests, to destroying records, to being the same man that scored 28 times in the first half of the season. Since then, in eight games he has scored just three times. With a new look, perhaps to rid himself of whatever spirits are tormenting him, he will set foot in the Bernabéu, set on taking back the Pichichi from Messi. And with it, of course, the Golden Shoe.

After the break for international duties, Ronaldo is now fully focused on putting in a stellar end of season. And to start the ball rolling again he is to face a team that he normally hurts with apparent ease. In the last seven games that he has played against Granada, he has scored six times. Four of them at home.
