Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that the Costa Rican goalkeeper will be given the nod during his press conference. "Casillas will play in Vallecas, Navas will play on Saturday".
It will be a further opportunity for the 28-year-old to prove his worth at the Bernabéu, which remains divided over himself and his main competitor, Iker Casillas. Incidentally, Navas did play against Rayo Vallecano in the home fixture earlier in the season, and so there was talk of him returning the visit on Wednesday.
Coach Ancelotti has decided that Navas's chance will not come against Paco Jémez's troops, but against Eibar. It will be the Costa Rican's ninth outing of the season (three in La Liga, two in the Champions League and three in the Copa del Rey) in which he has conceded seven goals so far.
