FEELING DIZZY DURING WARM-UP, IT AFFECTED HIS GAME

The French player was not feeling well and, after talking to the doctors, was given a couple of pills to take.
The striker returned to the session and subsequently played the game, seemingly fine. He was seen to put his hand to his head before kick-off and again once the game got underway, apparently feeling dizzy again. It was not his best day and he failed to make an impact on the game as he usually does, with no clear opportunities until the second half when he sent the ball wide. Carlo Ancelotti replaced him after 71 minutes.
The reality is that Benzema was not firing on all cylinders. The Frenchman was suffering from vertigo which thankfully did not turn out to be anything serious - confirmed by the fact that he was back training inside the Valdebebas facilities yesterday. Providing Ancelotti sees fit to include him in the line up, he will play against Eibar.
